Healing Your Grief Like a Boss

THERE ARE 10 ESSENTIAL STEPS TO START HEALING YOUR GRIEF LIKE A BOSS!

Remember:

“Cowardice asks the question – is it safe?
Expediency asks the question – is it politic?
Vanity asks the question – is it popular?
But conscience asks the question – is it right?
And there comes a time when one must take a position
that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular;
but one must take it BECAUSE it is right.”
~ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Then I was able to deal with my sorrow circumstance on a helpful new level.

So, if some of the foregoing emotions are part of your journey. Do not feel discouraged these detours are normal and unique to many who sorrow after horrendous grief happenings. You will be able to work through these detours.

Search for a caregiver. In fact, seek help from more than one caregiver. Early in your grief experience you will become conscious of the need and benefit from others’ help. Don’t leave God out. Don’t count on your own inspiration as your only source of healing help. How can you understand your grief? How can you wipe away your darkest grief? How can you find a brighter tomorrow? These are all questions when faced with dreadful grief you will look into your inspiration for answers.
After you have sought to better understand how you can work through your sorrow, don’t leave God out of your healing formula.

“God provides the wind, Man must raise the sail.”
~ Saint Augustine

Communing with God can give you inspiration and strength beyond your own inspiration and abilities. Nonetheless, after communion with your God realize you must still raise your sail and seek the wind to heal from your unbearable sorrow.

“Healing blessings come in many ways, each suited to our individual needs, as known to Him who loves us best. Sometimes a “healing” cures our illness or lifts our burden. But sometimes we are “healed” by being given strength or understanding or patience to bear the burdens placed upon us.” ~ Elder Dallin H. Oaks November Ensign 2006

You can start healing and stop grieving like a boss!
