McCarthy’s Jan. 6 Committee Gamble Faces Big Test This Spring

WASHINGTON — Property GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy suggests he has no regrets about obtaining Republicans boycott the special committee probing the Jan. 6 riot, dismissing the investigation as a political strike task.

“This is nothing but a political present,” McCarthy explained to NBC News in an interview past week just off the Property floor. “They by now have the report penned and they are making an attempt to produce a narrative for it as a substitute of attempting to get to the truth.”
